Sophie Conran for Burgon & Ball

Love this look? Senior Stylist Adam Powell and photographer Denise Braki created this fresh, outdoorsy scene in the T&W studio. Here we take a sneak peek into Sophie Conran's style.

Sophie, pictured above with the Allium Bloom Flask, is the daughter of designer Terence Conran and cookery writer Caroline. As a lover of home and hearth, she has turned her hand to a cookery business (selling pies!) and has also designed cookware, cutlery and wallpaper. She lived in Australia for a time, working on homewares for Country Road.

Although she and her family are based mostly in London, she has also spent time in a succession of country homes, including this 2 acre garden in West Sussex and this inspired her range of garden gear for established English garden firm Burgon & Ball.

The garden tools are thoughtfully designed use by smaller hands, and all her products are designed with longevity in mind.

Sophie bought her west London home (pictured above, and below) at 21, and transformed it it from a series of bedsits into a family home, where she has lived ever since.
