Anokhi - beautiful block prints

The Anokhi textiles in our feature today are made in Jaipur, Rajasthan where block printing has been practised for centuries. They're made from incredibly soft cotton, and the vegetable dyes mean the colours feel beautifully natural. The quilts and baby quilts add a very light layer of warmth, but pack a real punch in adding colour and an eclectic, hand-made feel to your room.

We wanted to show you how a block printed quilt can really add to a space, so we went to Houzz for these images (if you haven't discovered Houzz yet, it's a great resource for home inspiration - thousands and thousands of home images, mostly from the US). These bedrooms both feature single colour patterned quilts - if you like this look, try the Halip or Badri quilts in indigo, or the Samu quilt in red and white. For a more relaxed feel, choose one of the gorgeous paisleys or florals.
