What we do
Temple & Webster is all about the home.
Our aim is to inspire you to create beautiful spaces in your home with the best of Australian and international design, beautifully priced.
Temple & Webster is a members-only, online shopping club. We’re dedicated to bringing our members elegant, beautifully curated collections of premium and designer brands for the home at member-only prices.
Each week we offer our members exclusive access to premium quality furniture, homewares, home décor, art, gifts and lifestyle products from both well-known and up-and-coming Australian and international designers.
We also feature hand-picked curated collections from leading design commentators, interior designers, stylists and the designers themselves.
Temple & Webster shares the stories behind the brands and the designers to build a uniquely elegant and serendipitous shopping experience. By bringing you these stories we take you behind the scenes, beyond the exclusive sales events, with a fresh, engaging outlook to inform, entertain and inspire.
How it works
To ensure you don’t miss out on securing the brands and the products you love, you need to become a member of Temple & Webster. Membership is completely free.
Once you’re a member, you’ll receive our gorgeous email newsletter letting you know when our exclusive sales events are on and what time they start, so you can plan ahead.
Sales event is our term for a collection of beautiful items that we make available, usually for 3-5 days only, and exclusively to our members. Because we work with only the finest brands and designers there are often limited quantities of particular items available for sale.
We suggest you join sales events as soon they start, as our limited quantities and sensational savings mean items sell out quickly. When you find something you love we’ll send it to your door, beautifully packaged.
Why the name Temple & Webster?
William Temple and John Webster were the first named convict artisans to be commissioned to make fine furniture for Governor Lachlan Macquarie in colonial Australia in the early 1820s. Working together, Temple and Webster created two fine chairs, most likely for official or ceremonial use, for Governor Macquarie. Temple and Webster’s resourcefulness, fine craftsmanship and contemporary design (for the period) – are attributes that inspire us every day at www.templeandwebster.com.au
