Well schooled in style

Forget hibernating this winter; there's a lot to learn. Some of Australia's top stylists are sharing their secrets - don't miss your chance to meet, mingle and let the magic rub off on you.

Stylist, author & globetrotting creative Sibella Court has always been a collector with a keen interest in the natural world. She is holding a workshop at Sydney's historic Elizabeth Bay House next Saturday (29th June) to talk about the way the work of early collectors such as Alexander Macleay has influenced her work, and how to incorporate ideas about nature and history into interiors.

Stylist & author Shannon Fricke is kicking off a new series of workshops at her pretty workshop (pictured above) in Bangalow, northern NSW. Her 'Styling 101' class and 'How to Decorate' workshop happen in July, so get organised and book your spot at Shannon's website. For an idea of what to expect, read Karen's blog post about last year's workshop (and sneak a peek inside Shannon's beautiful home).

Megan Morton is holding a 3 hour workshop this Thursday 27th June from 6.30pm on decorating kids' rooms. The workshop includes a copy of her new book 'I Love My Room' (have you entered our competition to win a copy yet?!) and Juliette Arent & Sarah-Jane Pyke of Arent&Pyke will be there with their ideas for great children's rooms on all budgets. Call 9363 2782 to book.
