In the next edition of our new series on finding the perfect props for the T&W studio, T&W's styling team Jess Bellef and Adam Powell show off their latest finds.

Adam: By far my favourite props of the last few weeks were these gorgeous colourful bone china candlesticks from the very clever team at Have You Met Miss Jones. The forms resemble chess pieces, and I find that the story really comes to life when you cluster them together.

Adam: I truly believe that some of the most impactful props have an emotional connection. This planter pot was from my dear elderly neighbour Mrs Vallis. To me it is an Art Deco turban, a snapshot of her time and layers my image with rich personal meaning.

Adam: It's always an adventure the moment I step into I Like Birds in Paddington, eager to see what new tchotchkes the talented Tamara has in stock. Today my eye went straight for this magnificent resin stag head. Being winter it evoked a cosy, warm log cabin feeling. I also love that it is light weight and made from resin......no animals were harmed in the making of this prop post.

Jess: This cheeky Blu Dot chair and his disco ball side kick scream party time! I love furniture pieces that look like they have a sense of humour and together these two are having some fun. The aqua blue of the chair added some punch to the grey and purple palette I had created.
