T&W dads share their Father's Day Wish List

We asked four of Temple & Webster's fathers to share their thoughts on parenthood,
their favourite ‘Dad Jokes’ and top picks from our Father’s Day Gift Shop.



The best part about being a dad? Sharing in their adventures and achievements, laughing and massive hugs.
The most surprising part? How quickly they outsmart you. Or maybe that's just me?
Your favourite way to spend Father's Day? Barbecue breakfast, then a bushwalk or trip to the beach.
One thing your dad taught you. Everything handy and mechanical, a love of the ocean and the outdoors, patience, values – the list is long.
Your best/worst dad joke? Knock, knock? Who's there? Interrupting Cow. Interrupting Cow who?





The best part about being a dad? Hearing "Daddy, Daddy!" when I turn the key in the door.
The hardest part? He threw-up in the car last week.... need I say more?
The most surprising part? Every new word he learns, especially the ones we haven't taught him.
Your ideal Father's Day treat? Just to sleep past 7am!
Anything special you do for your own Dad on the day? A family dinner where we crack a nice bottle of red.
Your best/worst dad joke? Calling "Look, It's the dead centre of town!" as you drive past a cemetery.





The best part about being a dad? The adoration, until they’re old enough to realise you’re just a big dag.
The hardest part? Balancing work to spend the most time possible with them.
Your favourite way to spend Father's Day? A relaxed family barbecue, picnic or anything outdoors.
Your ideal gift? I ask for socks every year but am also quite partial to garage storage, cycling gear and home tech.
Anything special you do for your Dad on the day? Getting three generations together – Grandpa has a pretty special place in my kids lives, and Dad loves the attention.
Your best/worst dad joke? How do you get Pikachu on the bus? Pokemon!




The best part about being a dad? Watching and helping them in all their firsts, like running beside them as they ride a bike for the first time.
The most surprising part? That I'm mostly making it up as I go along.
Favourite way to spend Father's Day? Big brekkie with the family, lots of cuddles and some outdoor fun.
Ideal Father's Day treat? Time out to tinker, be it around the house or on my latest project.
