Stylist and artist Parish Stapleton has recently launched Stylist Lab, an educational community for creatives and an incubator for styling talent.
Since completing the 1000 Leaves project at Centennial Park earlier this year, Parish has been working on the Stylist Lab with photographer Marty Lochmann, stylist Nicole Ritchie, Josie McManus and Gary Yeung.

A collaboration with Murobond has led to the perfect shade of white (named Parish White in his honour) to create a blank slate at the studio (pictured above) at 40 Maddison St Redfern which will host a series of small group classes.

Having worked for many years for prestigious clients in the US (think Bergdorf's, Macys and Architectural Digest), Parish has a wealth of knowledge to share, right through from practical styling know-how to advice about creating and maintaining a brand.

For anyone contemplating or beginning a career in styling, the class about working as a stylist's assistant will be valuable. We absolutely love the sound of the one day shopping tour around Sydney's top stylists' haunts, too.

Classes will start in February 2014. To find out more, follow the team on Instagram @parishstapleton, @nrinteriors, @martylochmann.
