The easiest way to create a moment of luxury in your home is with a marble console table. This versatile piece of furniture can be elegant, edgy or warm and welcoming depending on how you style it and gives you a place to showcase your favourite pieces. We went on a hunt to find the different ways people are styling their marble console tables and let you know how you can get the look.

Monochromatic and minimalistic
Lauren and Geoff Lewis of BOWERBIRD Interiors use the clean, straight lines of both the console and the frame of the large artwork to create a clean and sleek canvas to style around. The addition of more organic shapes with two vases at different heights, one overflowing with greenery, as well as the handcrafted tray and the floor plant, give the space a touch of life.

Let it frame your art
The marble console table here adds a graceful anchor to this colourful landscape wall art. A sculptural and tactile vase and decorative bowl in complementary colours are all the accessories that are needed to solidify this as a feature area.

Incorporate layers
If your marble console table has multiple levels, all the better for creating a little #shelfie moment (get more tips on how to style a shelf here). Sarah Ellison has created four beautiful vignettes with stacked books and sculptural elements, grounded with an artwork that is rested up against the wall.

Light and bright colour matching
With a black and white console table, adding one or two colours to complement these opposing tones can really bring the space to life. Here, the matching table lamps with gold lamp shades are married by the golden box in the middle, while the green palm fronds make the small clear jar feel right at home.

Play with symmetry
Like in the previous image, this console that was featured on the Lo & Co blog is grounded by the two matching lamps at each end. The mirror, with its similar colouring, creates a bridge between the two lamps and draws the eyes up, while the delicate plant on a stack of books and geometric ornaments in different sizes bring light to the arrangement. Our stylists share some quick tips for styling your entryway console, using marble as an example.
