Can't do without a sturdy bedhead to prop yourself up against? No problem, we have plenty of beds including even solid timber beds and canopy bed frames (such as the one below) that are relatively light, and take around five to 10 minutes to assemble and take apart.

That doesn't mean you're compromising on quality; in fact, almost all these beds come with a five-year warranty, so rest assured, you're investing in a durable, hard-wearing furniture piece. Each bed frame can be easily dismantled into separate pieces, and all tools are provided too. Don't assume you have to go for the industrial-style steel frame either. There are plenty of less masculine-looking upholstered options too, which conveniently can be dismantled into separate parts and fit into the headboard.

Sofas and bulky armchairs can be problematic when you have a small narrow entryway, or when you have to lug it up several flights of stairs. That makes these flatpack sofas and armchairs which come apart in two or three pieces super-convenient. Other furniture tips for frequent movers

- Consider slipcover sofas so you can remove the slipcover during the move to prevent scuffs and marks.
- Extendable dining tables are convenient for both moving and to have the option of a smaller furniture piece when not entertaining.  
- Consider stackable dining chairs (such as the rattan chairs above), which are much easier to transport and store when not being used. 
- Instead of bulky side tables, consider ottomans, stools and poufs, which can work as side tables with the help of a tray, plus double as extra seating when required. 
- Need a new mattress and worried about yet another bulky piece to transport? Don't worry, all our mattresses come conveniently rolled and vacuum-packed in a long box. Simply unwrap and your mattress will fully unravel. That'll be one less thing you'll have to worry about during your move!
