Christmas wrapping getting you down? We found some inspiring images and tips from around the web to get you back on track.

This gorgeous image from the HomeLife blog features crafty trimmings from Papier D'Amour and others. Glen Proebstel's wrapping tips, also on HomeLife, include making sure your basic materials are up to scratch - thick paper and decent sticky tape are essential.  Those rolls of paper at the two dollar shop might look tempting, but they're usually paper thin and tear easily, so you'll end up re-wrapping.

Anna Spiro of Absolutely Beautiful Things, one of our favourite blogs for colour inspiration, wraps her gifts in fabric - and has used fabric bows to decorate her tree, too.  Totally child-proof, as she points out.

If all else fails, remember Jo Neville's advice from an earlier post about keeping it simple. She recommends using a simple but graphic base like newspaper (try foreign language newspaper, or sheet music).  Super easy, then add some beautiful ribbon or a special gift tag.
