Make the most of summer and keep a bag with everything you need for the beach in the hallway or car-boot, so you're ready for a quick dip whenever the urge strikes. Apart from cossie and sunscreen, these, too, might come in handy. 

1. Beach towel (of course). Preferably something extra-large with a fancy fringe in an ice cream-coloured hue. You also can't go wrong with a Turkish towel for its distinct softness and high absorbency. 



2. Grab a glass (with a silicone case to avoid breakage) or stainless-steel water bottle, ideally one in fresh summer or ocean-inspired colours. Choose a bottle with an infuser and self-insulation so you can enjoy a refreshingly cold bevvie with hints of lemon and mint.

3. Planning on reading after your swim? Avoid neck strain and keep sand out of all those annoying nooks and crannies by bringing along a foldable beach chair. 



4. Be sun-smart and stylish with a printed beach umbrella. Keeping you both cool and on trend with funky patterns, it's a win-win.



5. Forget the headphones and pump up the jams for everyone to enjoy on a portable speaker.

 

6. Don't forget to bring along the fun with inflatable pool toys. Just make sure they don't fly away or get lost in the surf!

 

7. Bring the party to the beach and say cheers with plastic and melamine glassware. Chill out in style and make the most of your time in the sun by making sure your drinks say icy-cold with an ice bucket.
