Lovers of artfully mixed colours and patterns will already know Brisbane-based decorator Anna Spiro and her Absolutely Beautiful Things blog (read my earlier post here).  Influenced by her love of gardening and fresh flowers, her interiors often feature classic blue and white, with splashes of pink, green or yellow. We love her new range of wallpaper, created with Porter's Paints, who have previously collaborated on wallpaper with other designers including Jodie Fried of Bholu (and Armadillo&Co) and Catherine Martin, production designer for husband Baz Luhrmann.

Anna has created three designs - Higgledy Piggledy Stripe, Rosey Posey Trellis (named by a reader of her blog) and Round and Round the Garden, seen below. Each design comes in several colourways, including neutral tones, but these images are great inspiration for use of the uplifting colourful versions.

If you can't get to a Porter's Paints showroom to see the papers, you can order a wallpaper book or individual samples online. And if you're feeling very brave and planning to apply the paper yourself, Porter's also run monthly courses in their Waterloo (Sydney) showroom.
