We’re proud to have worked with Platform Youth Services on a project supporting young people at risk of homelessness—helping create a safer, more stable future for vulnerable youth.



The project involved furnishing and styling a six-bedroom home in Penrith for the Education First program, which supports young people aged 17-22 at risk of homelessness. The program provides them with safe, long-term accommodation while they focus on their education and skill development.


 
For this space, we aimed to create a fresh, youthful, and inspiring environment. In the common areas, we used vibrant wall art and soft furnishings to make the space feel inviting, with generous sofas, swivel chairs, and large dining tables designed to encourage conversation and connection.

In the bedrooms, we kept the design calming with neutral tones, adding pops of warm colours to create a peaceful setting perfect for rest and study.


 
The Education First program goes beyond just housing—it also provides mentoring and coaching to help these young people develop the skills they need for employment and independent living. We’re proud to contribute to this vision and help create a space where they can feel supported and empowered to thrive.
