5 pins to love this week

After a week gorging on the rich, saturated depth of indigo, we're on a colour diet this week. Here's some lighter spaces to soothe your soul...

We discovered this Soho loft (and lots of other calming, pale interiors) on Italian blog My World Apart. We love the mix of textures and the light bouncing off those mirrors.

Sydney interior designers Arent & Pyke designed this space for the Belle Mirvac Life Series in Sydney's Harold Park late last year.

Apartment Therapy showed us the way to neutral nirvana with tips for a simple scheme focused on black, white and wood. Here's a peek, via Hitta Hem (styled by Pella Hedeby).

Thought you'd seen it all with subway tiling? A lofty Auckland bathroom seen in Urbis (image by Simon Devitt) demonstrates a new approach with a change of tile direction in the shower. We almost dropped the soap.

We're a little late to the party following photographer Jodi McKee on Pinterest. Her Interior Inspiration board has over 2,800 pins and she has well over 3 million followers. We re-pinned this serene spot in a West Village (NY) townhouse, shot by Brittany Ambridge. See the rest of the home here.
