Damien Floating Shelves (Set of 3)

Pro: The color is great, the weight capacity is great Con: quality is not that good and installation is hard. For quality: Although the quality of the board is not that good, as you would only use it for decoration, it is hard to spot the small flaws on the board unless you pay a lot attention on the board instead of the items above it. For installation: My home's wall is plasterboard and required to use wall anchor is not attaching to the stud. To enhance the weight capacity of the shelves, it is suggested to put 5 wall anchors into the plasterboard for a shelf. However, the wall mounted invisible bracket is a little too vertically narrow, and it require 2 wall anchors on left/right side vertically, which means the 2 wall anchors will be installed right next to another one. Without professional assistance, the installation process is kindof hassle, and the crowded wall anchors makes the wall area behind the shelves looks kindof disaster. However, these disaster will be hidden by the shelves and I think the shelves can last for many years so I don't really mind.

The shelves are still quite wobbly once attached to the wall and the laminate does not seem very durable - there are already scratches in it and we only just installed them, and did so quite carefully. They are ok for our purposes but I wouldn't recommend them if you want to put anything with serious weight on them or if you want a good quality product.

Nice shelves but dont feel particularly sturdy.
