6 STEPS TO BLUSH BEDROOM SUCCESS

• Play with different shades of pink to give depth and interest to your colour scheme.
• Use soft grey as an accent colour for sheets, cushions or throws to tone down the sugariness of wall-to-wall pink.
• Add pattern with an on-trend, large-scale floral.
The organic look and feel of linen bedding is still trending, but pure linen can be expensive. Get the linen look for less with a linen/cotton blend quilt cover.
Layer different cushion shapes for a photo-shoot worthy bed.
Look for interesting details such as fringeing on cushions or the pompoms on the throw.

4 WAYS TO GO LUXE WITH EMERALD GREEN

On-trend jewel tones make a strong statement for winter, especially when done in corduroy, which has the same plush, luxe effect as velvet.
Black and white patterns keep the look glam and tailored with a hint of Art Deco.
For the ultimate luxe hotel bed look, use European pillows and double up on all your accent cushions.
Arrange your pillows and cushions so that they sit upright and high, adding to the lush high-end hotel feel.

QUICK CHANGE

Turn a weekly chore into a quick fix with Jess’s easy method to changing a quilt cover in 2 minutes flat.
1. Turn your quilt cover inside out.
2. Put your arms inside the quilt cover and grab the two far corners.
3. Without letting go, grab hold of two corners of your quilt.
4. Start to unfurl the quilt cover over the quilt, shaking it down until everything is in the right spot.
