The quintessential Magazine

The second edition of The quintessential Magazine is here! Like the first edition (read our post about it here), it's full of inspirational images of vintage finds unearthed around the world by Leanne Carter-Taylor of Sydney store Quintessential duckeggBLUE including the vintage industrial French loom and bobbins below, now repurposed as a wall installation by a clothing boutique in New York's Soho.

Stylist Glen Proebstel, now based in New York, has contributed a pictorial tour of stylist's haunts in New York and San Francisco - essential for anyone planning a trip Stateside.

Karen McCartney has written a story about wedding gifts, based on those she treasures after almost 20 years of marriage. Here's the first page - click on the image to read the rest and learn which five gifts that have endured for her - including, would you believe, a toaster. Which wedding gifts do you still love, years later? What do you wish you'd received (or given)? Leave a comment to let us know.
