T&W Weekend: Murobond Christmas Makers' Market
What a huge week it's been at Temple & Webster. We really hope you've enjoyed our launch and our first feature – thank you for all the support. Once we can get out from under the mountain of empty coffee cups, we're all looking forward to the weekend.
The Christmas Makers' Market at Murobond's Artarmon showroom is definitely on our list. It's on today and tomorrow (4th and 5th November) from 10am – 2pm at 81 Dickson Ave.
The sun will be shining, so grab a coffee and wander around the market, featuring beautiful handmade Christmas decorations, wooden Christmas trees, ceramics, gifts for kids, stationery, French zinc tags from the gorgeous Blanc-Leger and one off vintage items. So much more pleasurable than battling the hordes at the mall to buy the same old decorations and gifts. You'll also have the chance to see the work of talented paper artist Jo Neville of Paper Couture. If you love what you see, make a note to visit our Paper Couture feature next Wednesday.
Murobond are the designers' favourite for their mastery of intense, beautiful colour. Stylist Jason Grant will be launching a new colour palette at the markets on Saturday. The theme is "Road Trip" and the colours are light, bright and perfect for summer (if it ever arrives). If you're looking to refresh some outdoor furniture or a feature wall, check out "Happy Days", a gorgeous blue, or add a burst of sunshine with "Hello Yello".
Across town, interior stylist and creative director Sibella Court is launching her latest book, Nomad, at The Society Inc. In Paddington. We're looking forward to seeing more of her layered, eclectic style in images inspired by her travels to Syria, India and Italy - we'll report back!
Enjoy your weekend.
