With spring finally on its way, we took our cues from the way One Kings Lane styled this small deck, and put together some ideas for creating an inviting outdoor space for relaxing or entertaining.
1. Floor decor
Use an outdoor rug to define your area and create the feeling of a room. We love the Lhasa and the Cancun, below.

2. Easy seating
Low seating creates a comfortable and casual atmosphere. Mix and match colourful ottomans or cushions with a jug of conversation-enhancing punch. Spring evenings can be cool, so layer your seating area with throws for warmth. The ottomans and cushions in our sale event today are made using Warwick outdoor fabric, so they're durable enough for outdoors.

3. Bring the garden in
Use spring blooms and foliage in your table setting. Try bowls of fruit or pots of herbs as centrepieces, and a sprig from the garden at every place setting. Paul Joseph Hopper of Terrace Outdoor Living says, "For a simple space saving way to add greenery , the Boskke sky planters are an intriguing twist on the hanging plant trend, and can be used anywhere that there is enough natural light for plants to grow." Hang over your outdoor table for a fun conversation piece.
