Sneak Peek – Artisan Magazine Issue 7

Following on from Artisan Magazine's profile of Deb Taylor and Little White Dish, we're bringing you a sneak peek at their latest issue. Co-founders Natalie Hunfalvay, Bhavani Konings and Leigh-Ann Thomas shared the details about the brand new Issue 7.
Artisan Magazine is an iPad magazine that focuses on stories of the local, personal and unique – all things handmade, simple and beautiful. Issue 7 is out now, featuring a range of stories that showcase the artisanal side of life.

We visit an inventive knitter whose works are not just beautiful artistic creations but also provide comfort and peace. Another contributed piece brings to life age-old myths about plants, making us rethink our relationship to all things green.

A trip to the Netherlands provides us with two great stories on Dutch artisans. Learn about PUC or Personalized Unique Collection – a studio and shop where waste leather is carefully designed and handmade into pretty and functional handbags and accessories.

Read a thought-provoking piece on how one man refashions instruments of war and works to make something meaningful out of a terrible situation. We also take a peek into an Amsterdam-based bakery that really knows the meaning of artisanal production and shares its methods for making the most flavourful breads.

And finally, try out a few of our delicious drinks recipes for cocktails and mocktails – some great and tasty ideas to help you plan your next fun gathering!
Artisan Magazine final issue published May 2016.
