One thing for winter: a pop of colour

High-profile stylist Mr Jason Grant has the perfect antidote to the winter blues – a splash of colour, of course. Even better if it's his favourite sunshiny yellow.

OK, so it's winter, which in most parts of Australia means it's cold and miserable for about a minute. The best way to make it through the cooler months, I think, is to inject your home with colour. The power of colour cannot be underestimated, so add your favorite shades to your daily rountine – even a bright coffee cup or breakfast bowl can start your day with a smile.

Of course everyone who knows me remembers that I have a thing for a bright pop of yellow!  It's possibly the most cheery of shades and is perfect as it works with every other colour (well almost) in your space – it'll bring a little sunshine to the bedroom, lounge room, kitchen, even your bathroom with accessories, soft furnishings and art.
