This dramatic entryway designed by Lilly Bunn Weekes (who blogs at Lilly's Notebook) is part of an Upper East Side apartment featured in this month's Lonny magazine. As usual, Lonny is well worth a read, and perfect if you can sneak in an extended coffee break today. As well as the beautiful apartment, Lilly's words caught our attention. She believes that interior design is the fashion of your 30s and 40s. "One of the reasons I think that's true is because interiors are about homes and families," she says. We agree that creating a warm and welcoming home for family (and friends) is a satisfying endeavour, so this seemed like a good thought to start the week at T&W.
Happy Monday!
