These beautiful botanical prints were created by artist & designer Bethany Linz, pictured below. We find out more...

Bethany originally created these works of art for a digital print fabric & wallpaper range for Sydney's Sparkk fabric studio (read our earlier interview with Bethany here). They were inspired by her interest in Victoriana and the colonial era.

Bethany trained in fine art before moving into textile design. 'I like to think my work is timeless, and is a reflection of both my art and design backgrounds,' she says. The digital reproductions of her original artworks are printed on quality archival paper and framed in a dark brown faux-bamboo frame. Each one is signed by the artist.

The 'Great Shalimar' print is named for the Great Exhibition of 1851, organised by Queen Victoria's husband Prince Albert as a showcase for industrial technology (especially that of Great Britain). The print has appeared in Home Beautiful and Belle magazines.

Bethany collaborated with stylist & author Sibella Court on a surfboard featuring her 'Great Shalimar' design, available through McTavish Surfboards in Byron Bay.
