Meet New Zealand stylist & pilot LeeAnn Yare
We profiled LeeAnn Yare back in June when we debuted her colourful homewares range for General Eclectic. Now she's back, with a book and her home featured in this month's Marie Claire magazine. We asked her to share a (colourful) week in pictures...

Me! At home in our lounge in front of our new pink wall. I am still amazed I got that (the pink) over the line with my husband Glen - it's lucky Tyler (6) and Dylan (4) were both on board. The wall itself is wallpapered in a vintage patterned paintable Anaglypta wallpaper, so it's only ever a tin of paint away from a new look, and has so far been white, black and now pink.

I'm lucky enough to sell Kip & Co bedlinen at my store Collected, and I love to mix up the patterns. I've just taken home a couple of lush velvet vintage inspired cushions from my collaboration with General Eclectic which are perfect on our bed! Obviously Bosco the bad beagle agrees completely.

I've been flat out signing and selling copies of the book I have just launched with photographer Larnie Nicolson, New Zealand Interior Style, where we showcase 24 fabulous Kiwi homes which all have personality-packed interiors that have been cleverly put together by their creative owners. If you're after some inspiration that is completely achievable then this is the book for you, and I have included plenty of tips of how you can create the looks in your own home. Published by Penguin, New Zealand Interior Style is available now at all good booksellers and online at Collected.

One of my favourite things from my collaboration with General Eclectic are the Teatime Candlesticks. I have the tall tangerine version paired with a soft pastel Danish candle sitting on our coffee table, it's the perfect modern take on vintage style with just the right amount of quirk, so works in with any interior style. Love!

I'm so excited (and a little nervous!) as our home has just been featured in the November issue of Marie Claire! It hasn't quite made it across the ditch so I'm reading it on the iPad and can't wait to get the actual magazine :-) Bosco the bad beagle is famous; he couldn't help but jump on to the freshly made bed!

It's currently school holidays over here in NZ, and Tyler (6) has been helping me out at Collected earning some pocket money! There's nothing nicer than afternoon tea served up in one of our $3 mini milk bottles with a stripy straw and a trusty Anzac biscuit!

I'm in planning mode today as I'm styling one of the gorgeous homes featured in my book, New Zealand Interior Style, to feature in the Your Home & Garden festive charity home tours! We are going Mexican, bright, fun, easy and unconventional Christmas decorating, so these paper fans we sell at Collected are first on my stylists list.

I have just come out of a meeting and I am so excited, here is a peek of what I'm working on right now....can't tell you what it is just yet but watch this space. It's a range inspired by my current obsession for simple shapes in hot bold brights sitting next to soft pale shades.
