Made by Hand - Bride & Wolfe

Thank you for the great response to Made by Hand, our new series in which Jacqui Fink of Little Dandelion shares her favourite hand-made products from around the web. This week's creative business is Bride & Wolfe

Bride & Wolfe was created in 2005 by Miranda Moreira on her return from living in Paris for 6 years. Miranda was inspired by an intricate timber cut out of a Hansel and Gretel silhouette she admired in a 4th arrondissement antique shop. On her return to Melbourne, Miranda started making her own timber cut outs with a modern edge, and Bride & Wolfe was born.

It has quickly evolved and now makes unique limited edition, hand finished wall decor, circle shelves and intricate sculptural pieces for the home.  All items are produced in small runs using Australian timbers and highly skilled craftsman. Many elements of Bride and Wolfe's range are handmade.  I love the quirkiness of Miranda's creative offerings.
