Today is the first day of our Grand Designs Live Sydney adventure and our creative team have put three different looks together for our stand.
Here's a peek at our sitting area, inspired by mid-century style. T&W's Head of Styling Jessica Bellef explains the look: "Light blue walls are warmed up by beautiful oak timber, while the Florence Broadhurst cushion and beige hide soften the grey of the striking sofa. Mid century style features strong lines and shapes, and to avoid pushing it too far we brought it up to date with sleek accessories highlighted with on-trend gold."
We're rather hoping Kevin McCloud might swing past our stand for a chat. Having watched many episodes of Grand Designs, we'll be ready to discuss every variation of the weather/budget/health disasters his subjects face before the almost-inevitable happy ending. Our two competition winners Helen and Terese will meet Kevin behind the scenes in the VIP room, and our Editorial Director Karen will interview him in Melbourne - look out for her interview.
