It is as-pictured, though I was a bit disappointed by the quality. The arms are not sturdy - can be leaned on but I would not sit on them - and were pretty difficult to attach. The couch does not have fabric over the back, just a thin plastic-like material that had torn in a couple places during transit. As such, you will need to position it against a wall! It folds down smoothly and is otherwise comfortable to sleep on (no protruding parts as was mentioned in another review).

Looks exactly like we wanted and easy to assemble but finished poorly. Staples are sticking out hurting you when you try to put the couch together, material used under the couch is the black one- same I already had before for my chairs. After a year it started disintegrating leaving heaps of black pieces everywhere. It will happen with this couch as well. Really disappointing.
