Nailing in the back board I ended up going though the wood at the side...sigh. I guess that is what is to be expected when you buy a cheap product. Don't buy this if you can't hammer a nail in straight or you will be asking for trouble. Aside from that the finish product is sturdy and does the trick for a bed side table.

The board it's made of is quite flimsy. Chipped when hammering a nail in the back and colour laminate part lifted too. Not great quality, but will do the job for a seldom used spare room.
