Ceremonial sites carry deep spiritual meaning, serving as spaces where women narrate their sacred Aboriginal Dreamtime stories through song lines, dance cycles, & body paint.
The painting depicts freshwater soakages & rock holes carved into the bedrock, providing drinking water during times of drought. The vegetation includes Spinifex grass, wild bush wheat, & bush tucker that grows underground, such as sweet yams.
