Represented within this piece is a Wiradjuri sunrise on the bank of the Murrumbidgee River- the river running through my Country, and one of my most cherished places.

It reflects the swiftness of the water, moving quickly yet calmly downstream towards the Wiradjuri reserve. The droplets of water falling from my face and hair upon a morning swim, managing still to reflect the soft hues as the sky takes her colour for the day, warmed and filled by Grandmother Sun.
