Perfect, this merlot carpet is the best thing ever! The kitchen is the only place to put my puppa's food and water bowls in the apartment, she drips water all over the place after drinking making the floor very slippery. Laying this event carpet is perfect in the kitchen as it is rubber backed, non slip, vacuums easy, can be hosed off and dries quickly. It looks great with my red kettle and feels great underfoot and I know now I am not going to slip.
