This fell apart during assembly - the screws came clean out of the chipboard when I tried to move it. I salvaged it with wood glue and it’s a functional headboard, but I can never disassemble it.

Looks great and is sturdy but is not very practical to use once you are in bed. In fact you have to get out of bed to access anything on the shelves unless you are a contortionist. That said I still love the look.

So now it has this weird metal glued logo badge thing in the front, that isn’t even straight, and isn’t in the photos, can’t be hidden by pillows because it’s up the top and the only way I can get rid of it is to pull the whole thing apart and start again by installing one piece back to front, or by prying it off with a knife and damaging it. So really, I’m annoyed. It looks crappy now and the person followed the instructions and to fix it I have to pull it apart. Why on earth would they glue a metal badge on it, and especially crooked. And if it was meant to be there, why do the photos not show it. Still deciding whether to put in a complaint.
