Whilst I do love this cake stand, we bought it with the intention of having the glass dome on-top of it, the problem we face is that there is no lip to secure the glass dome, so moving it with the dome there is an added risk of losing the dome off an edge - however it is stunning and fit for purpose as just a beautiful cake stand!
