Much sturdier than I expected.

Excellent gate! Purchased with the extension, this gate made it easy to separate two open rooms so we could keep our puppy in one space.

Easy to install. Not sure what other reviews are talking about as it was super easy. Didn't really need to look at the instructions as it was fairly obvious where and how each piece fit together. We wanted a gate that didn't look like a baby jail and that could fold away neatly when not required. This is exactly what it does, and keeps our little one from climbing down the spiral staircase on his own! Love it. Need to push hard on the button to release the gate but once you get the hang of it you can manage with one hand. Great for those strange spots like ours that are not exactly a straight line!

Really stiff to close. But still the best (most secure) baby gate we’ve had!
