If you have a AC powered fan then this is a quick and easy change to DC. the motor it in the fan head so you don’t have to have an electrician install it. We did but not to worried. But we definitely Love the fan. It’s so quiet and functional. The dimmable light which can be changed to warm neutral or cool is a very handy feature. We had the fan on speed 1 last night to provide some airflow for our hot rooms and it was great to wake up without feeling hot and to not have heard it all night. T&W were the cheapest on line too.
