Walnut Portia Bamboo Bed Frame

Great bed, super easy to put together and I love the grippy strips on the slats that hold the mattress in place, simple and so helpful! It's minimalist, lightweight but sturdy. I love how low it sits as my mattress is extra deep. Absolutely perfect! Shame I didn't realise there was a fantastic ratchet allen key in the package until after the build, but I used it for other furniture and will again!

We wanted a small, simple bed to replace out old huge timber four poster that was taking up way more room than necessary. This design was pretty much perfect. Compact and stylish in its simplicity. Extremely easy and fast to put together. I would say you might need a soft mallet to get the headboard in place on the base is a tight fit. The only thing I will say is that it's maybe but lower than it needs to be. An extra inch on the legs wouldn't have hurt. But as most side table are around 50cm high these days it's obviously designed to match this height.

Such a gorgeous, solid wooden bed. It has a low profile and compact shape, so fits in really well into a smaller bedroom. We love the simplicity of the design and all the curved edges. As they say, less really is more. It is very well made, and makes our guest bedroom feel very zen. My partner also appreciated the good quality ratchet tool that came in the box. I would definitely purchase again. A brilliant buy.

This bed frame is absolutely gorgeous! It looks so elegant and feels very sturdy. Assembly was quick and easy with clear instructions, and the finished result is even better than I expected. I’m so happy with it and would definitely recommend it!

Love my low queen bed, I chose it specifically because it was easy to assemble and it indeed was. Low to the ground so the kids can easily jump in with me in the middle of the night. The mattress hasn't shifted and legs seem sturdy. I am hoping it lasts for many many years.

This is the second purchase of this bed (different sizes). It is very sturdy and great design, it is lower than other beds but not a problem when you get used to it. the platform design means it's really easy to make the bed, no more crushed fingers from lifting the mattress to put fitted sheet on.

Very good quality-price ratio. The bed looks very clean in the room. It was easy to set up. My robot vacuum fits underneath. Had to buy some felt protectors for the back, as the screws touched on the wall. It does not squeak or move at all. Overall very happy with the purchase.

In keeping with most reviews here - good value, sturdy & quiet (according to my guest), minimalist and unobtrusive frame albeit nothing ‘special’. Comes with a complete mini tool kit and very easy to put together by yourself - took 50minutes. Highly recommend grabbing a screwdriver & 20 piece bit and drill set and this will be a breeze to build. It is a lower frame - 20cm high - so do check dimensions. Exactly what I wanted to visually open up space in a smaller 3.1x3.2m room. Lost a star for disappointing chip on the headboard when unboxed on arrival, but thankfully in a section easily covered by pillows.

Sturdy enough for my 55kg mattress, and can be assembled by 1 person. Love how it looks and the warmth of the wood. Plus the empty space underneath holds some of my seasonal storage.

Great bed frame. Sturdy and takes up minimal space compared to our last Queen bed frame, which was great for the small guest room. Quite low compare to other frames, which we like as it's less imposing in a small room.

This is a beautiful simple and light bed frame. It was very easy to assemble myself with all the necessary tools provided and clear instructions. Delivery was very prompt.
