This bed was exactly what my daughter wanted. The only bits I found were that it took a good two hours to assemble. Lots of bolds and screws. It requires a lot of assembly. I would not recommend for a heavy person or with a mattress that was not solid/thick. The bed has bars across not slats so I think it could be like one of those old pull out beds and uncomfortable if you have too much pressing down on the bars. This suits the purpose I needed so I am happy with the purchase. Just be aware of the time to put together.

Package was compact and arrived quickly and intact. Assembly was easy - but sort all the parts first and have the easy to understand instructions handy, just in case something is confusing (I used the wrong washers as I didn’t realise there were two sizes). It was a bit awkward and heavy but I managed to do it by myself in about 2-3 hours with minimal cursing, most of that was sorting the parts and finding a comfortable position. The completed product looks exactly like it should and it is beautiful and sturdy. Lots of compliments too.
