A wool rug has the major benefit that it is easy to maintain since wool has natural dirt repelling properties; please note that cut pile wool rugs will shed; It is highly recommended to rotate your rug 180 degrees every 3-6 months to balance appearance and to distribute wear evenly; lightly vacuum once or twice a week using the lightest possible setting; avoid powerful vacuums that may pull fibres loose from the base of the rug; vacuum the base of your rug occasionally; as dirt can accumulate here as well; clean spills immediately; once a stain is set; it becomes much more difficult to clean; never rub a spill; as this forces the spill deeper into the rug; try to dab the stain with a dry towel or cloth immediately; no two rugs are the same; handmade rugs may vary in size & colour slightly; as each piece is unique

It's not teal! It's bright blue! Yes this is a beautiful rug, but the colour is totally different to what is shown on the website. A very very sad return.
