Such a beautiful hide. I wasn't sure how I would go with having a cowhide (or cattle hide) in the house, but I really love and honour the life of this animal. My family has named him Manuel given the details T&W provided about his origins. He is from Brazil and his hide is a result of the meat industry. I decided to buy this rug because of these details as it was about honouring his life -- i.e. no consumer wastage. No discarding for the sake of it -- but honouring the animal he was. And I do this everyday.

Very disappointing! Hide arrived and looked nothing like the picture. It was almost entirely white. The hide also had a number of holes in it which I was told weren’t considered a fault because they could be covered up!? Definitely would not recommend buying a hide from TW.
