Ryla Iron & Linen Pendant Shade

Very happy with this shade. Good quality and fair price. One thing to note is that the part underneath the suspension cord shouldn’t be too long, otherwise the light bulb might fall out, as the oval light is shorter in height than the round one.

This is a gorgeous lampshade...doesn't take over the room and has such a lovely softness to it with the linen fabric.

This light really works in my space. It’s light as a feather and very easily attached to the light, for me no electrician needed.

Beautiful light shade

This light has a nice natural linen texture but just a comes folded and takes effort to "massage" into a symmetrical shape.

The Ryla light shade is perfect in our tiny lounge - simple to install, too.

It says that this product will arrive with instructions ... it doesn't. Also this is not a pendant shade ... its a lantern. There is no attachment for pendant, you need to use wire or string to hang it. Also there is a metal rectangular insert that keeps the "lantern" open and the top and bottom bars of this rectangular device prevent you from hanging the light in the centre ... the only way is to hang the light bulb off centre ie to the left or right of the bars. The fabric is like thick Tweed linen which blocks the light ... its not attractive at all. On the website the material looks thin and almost paper like. Its actually fabric and isn't very nice.

Lovely warm tactile texture, the linen makes this much more substantial than the white paper lantern. However, due to the material and see in the picture it is not a perfect circle. Ours is placed quite high so you can see it, but the one placed lower we used the pendant that had a better shape
