Rivers 2 Seat Hardwood Swing with Canopy & Cushion

Product is great. Arrived 3 days after ordering. Instructions for set up and maintenance were very clear. My wife loved it, and it looks great as an outdoor furniture piece.

We love this swing seat. It looks great in our garden. The green seat and canopy blend in beautifully with our trees. The structure seems very strong and it is great that is in made of hardwood. It is also very comfortable to sit in and swing.

Adds an excellent touch to the garden as so easy to setup

Three coats of Aquadeck, then simple/ logical construction. Our only complaint is that the polyester roof fills with water in the rain causing bulges where the cross beams are situated. The company has excellent communication and keeps you updated with delivery etc. I would recommend them to any perspective buyer.

Cushion is a bit thin, and water pools on the top of the canopy. I had to add some flatbar strips under the canvas to fix it. Otherwise pretty good.

Did not weather very well ... lasted 4 years before sending to tip

After waiting a very long time for this asset to come back in stock i must say it was worth the wait. A relaxing swing seat which is very sturdy and a feature in our gazebo which has a lot of use. It has become a very popular feature in our back yard

We have been researching and looking for a 2 person bench swing and this is definitely the best option we have found in Australia. To assess I will break it down into a couple of aspects. Packaging: Item came in one box and was easily moved by my wife and I into our garage when it arrived. It is packed tight with padding which ensured the product arrived undamaged. Design: The difficult part of bench swings is the support legs which if not designed right will split down the middle due to the weight of the individuals and the swing inertia. This happened on a different product we originally bought. This product is well designed, which is very important! All the key cuts in the support legs are millimeter perfect which means that when everything is tightened up there is no gaps that could rub and cause damage or hiding places for spiders. The twin chains are well placed and does not cause rubbing on the wood when it swings. I also really like the color and think it matches well with the rest of the bench. Finish: Make sure you oil this before use as the wood is dry. I used Monocel furniture oil (natural) and the wood looks awesome. It actually dried quicker than normal, and the wood is forgiving so you don't have to hold back! The cushion is nice and comfy, although I think it looks better without it and the seat is actually ergonomically sound. The roof fits nicely and is held down by multiple velcro straps. It does look a bit thin and I think it needs some fabric sealant to prevent fading and stop water ingress. If you don't like the top, the frame is well designed and looks like it will accommodate wood or a metal frame. We are going to put corrugated steel on top to give it a more 'outback' feel. Overall this is a great product that looks like it will last a long time. After all the research we did and previous 'dud' purchases, I am glad we eventually found this bench!

Exactly what we were looking for. Easy to assemble. Recommend putting timber protection and we bought the product recommended by Temple Webster. Fits in our our garden perfectly.
