Toronto-based homeware design company Umbra - Latin for "shade" - was born over 30 years ago when graphic designer, Paul Rowan, couldn’t find a nice window shade to hang in his apartment. Nice looking curtain rod. Only downfall is the end tops are heavy plastic and not metal. Thought the entire rod would be metal. Still kept because they do look nice and you can’t really tell a huge difference. Would have preferred for the description to say that the tips were plastic. |
