I was disappointed when I first received delivery of this lamp. The shade is very dark. I thought it would be very pretty with a brighter looking red glass during the day, It looks almost brown. However the light is pretty at night when switched on. There is a slight lean of the stand due to the weight of the shade.

This lamp is sturdy, simple to put together, and well made. It matches the colours in my lounge suite perfectly and gives a nice soft warm light in the room. It arrived in a matter of days which pleased me very much.

Nice design, beautifully handcrafted, solid appearance. I give 5 stars for the product but zero for the packaging. The used polystyrene is terrible to dispose of; there are better alternatives. Also, I purchased this lamp with the Dragonfly Table Lamp; and of course, the bulb sockets are different. E27 for this floor lamp and B22 for the table lamp.
