Bought this for my disabled son as he has trouble bending down and straightening up. This hangs over the door and the way the lid actually slides forward is actually quite nifty if wanting to scrape vegetable scraps from cutting board on bench straight into bin as the lid hangs off the front, out of the way. And the slot at the bottom stores spare bin bags. It's not large, so it's a manageable sized rubbish bag when full because it's not heavy, so for people with mobility difficulties or muscle problems it makes it easier to empty. My only issue was there were no actual instructions but we figured out to take the grey rim off, insert bin liner and then clamp the rim down on the edge of the bin bag once its inserted. If a bag is put in on top of the grey rim, the way the lid opens catches the bin bag and pulls it away from the rim. |
