Quinn 4 Seater Upholstered Sofa with Open-End Chaise

We were looking for a sofa for our new home that was stylish, practical, reasonably compact, and worth the price. I spent weeks comparing sofas both online and in stores before making a decision. The main reason we chose this one was because we wanted a sofa that wasn’t oversized but was still large enough to comfortably lie down on, and we didn’t want to wait several months for delivery. In that respect, it has been a great choice. The chaise is wide enough for two people to relax together, while a third person can still comfortably use the remaining seat. Even though it offers plenty of seating, it doesn’t overwhelm the living room, which was very important to us. Overall, the sofa is not bad, but there are a few things potential buyers should know. The first is the colour. It is definitely different from the photos. It isn’t the light creamy shade shown in many of the pictures; it is much closer to a greyish oatmeal colour. It’s still a nice, light neutral and works well in our home, but it wasn’t what I expected. Before purchasing, I specifically asked customer service through live chat whether the sofa had any grey tones because I wanted a warm, light cream colour. I was told to rely on the online photos because they were accurate. Unfortunately, they weren’t. Some images make the sofa look almost white, while others look noticeably grey, so it’s difficult to judge. I think describing it as a greyish oatmeal rather than creamy/natural would better manage expectations, especially for buyers trying to avoid cooler, grey tones. My second concern is the value for money. I never complain about paying more if the quality justifies the price, but for the price, there are many beautiful sofas available with noticeably better fabrics and finishes. I genuinely expected a more premium product for this price. The sofa is comfortable, and the timber frame feels solid, which is a big positive. The fabric is also soft to the touch, but it feels quite thin. My concern is its long-term durability. It also appears to be the type of fabric that doesn’t respond well to spot cleaning, as the texture changes once brushed or rubbed, similar to plush rugs that lose their fluffy appearance over time. Another concern is the construction details. The tufting that creates the sofa’s design is held in place internally with cords, and I do wonder how those will hold up over the years. My biggest disappointment is actually the back of the sofa and the way the two pieces join together. Our sofa sits in the middle of the living room rather than against a wall, so the back is fully visible. Unfortunately, it isn’t finished the same way as the front. There is a large horizontal seam across the back where the upper cushion folds over, and it is more noticeable in person than it appears online. The back also doesn’t feature the same tufted detailing as the front, making it look much cheaper and less refined. Had the seam been positioned lower near the base, it would have been far less obvious. I looked at many sofas before purchasing, and most had a much cleaner finish on the back, especially if they were designed to be viewed from all angles. I wish I had paid more attention to that detail before I bought it. The two pieces also don’t join together seamlessly. As much as we tried to adjust them, they still don’t align properly, which is very annoying and, again, makes the sofa look cheaper. As for longevity, I don’t believe this is a sofa that will last 10+ years. In a clean home with careful use, I think you could realistically expect around 3–5 years, while a busy household may see signs of ageing much sooner. Considering the price, I was hoping for a longer lifespan. I would return the sofa to Temple & Webster if I could. Realistically, returning such a large piece of furniture is possible, but we all know it really isn’t practical, so we have to keep it and just accept it as it is. I can also understand why this sofa has so many positive reviews. It isn’t a bad sofa. It’s comfortable, practical, a great size, and it looks lovely overall. That’s why I wouldn’t rate it one or two stars. If you’re simply looking for a comfortable, well-sized L-shaped sofa for everyday living, this is a good choice. But if you’re furnishing a more elegant, premium-looking home and expect a truly high-end finish for the price, I think you may end up disappointed.

Very solid couch. It ticks all the boxes that I need for a couch. The chenille fabric feels very soft, the back is lower than recliner couch so even though the couch is 3.6m it still makes the living room seem big and wide. Also it’s very solid so it doesn’t misshape after use. I do like a soft couch but they get misshaped very easily, so prefer to choose something like this which is solid and spacious easy to add some pillows to add its softness. Very easy to clean, at the same time not to heavy to lift up. Definitely 10 out of 10! Thanks !

This couch is amazing! The colour is absolutely perfect, and it’s incredibly comfortable. I styled it with the Pink Elowen Contemporary Rug and Caleigh Coffee Table, and I absolutely love how our living area has come together. It’s giving the ultimate Barbie house vibes! 💕 My daughters and I love our feminine little sanctuary, sprinkled with beautiful pink touches and plenty of personality. It’s easily become our favourite space in the house!

Perfect! Arrived in four large, but manageable boxes. All the parts just worked and it came together easy! Definitely a two person build, but no sweat (or tears!)- just for balancing. Its the most comfortable couch and we love it 🥰🥰

This couch is amazing! So roomy, so comfortable, beautiful fabric, just a really stylish, but REALLY comfortable couch! The ottoman part is really wide, and fits 2 people. I wanted a couch that looked amazing, and was super comfortable but was not high maintenance to sit on (like falling down the cracks or having to constantly rearrange the couch cushions), I also wanted something that me & my 3 sons could comfortably crash out on to watch a movie. I looked at so many different options but kept coming back to this one, and so glad I did. The true colour is more olive than forest green. Photo attached is really true to the colour. Although it only came in a few pieces, it was a bit of a challenge to put together!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this couch. Super comfy to sit and sleep on. Only negative I've found is that it pulls very easily when my cat scratches it however I've put a blanket/throw over the corners where she like to scratch and that has stopped her.

Love my new couch! Moved house so had to keep it in the delivery boxes for 2 weeks but it’s a great size and extremely comfortable! I got the green but also loved the blush colour. Wish I had the space to purchase both for different living spaces! Delivery was also exceptionally fast so very impressed with the service!!! This was our first purchase of 3 furniture items from Temple and Webster to furnish our new house. It arrive quickly and was an easy assemble. The colour was the perfect choice for us because our house has pink accents so it looks great! It’s a good size, it is on the firmer side but I don’t mind that. The moveable chaise is great and the height of the seat, backrest and armrests are just right for us. Someone else has reviewed about not being a good choice for dogs scratching- I second this and have had do some training to stop the doggos from scratching on the sofa. Super happy with this purchase!
