Our daughter loves this and it's been a great addition to the backyard. We did take off the side tarps as they didn't look great and ripped easily. But more importantly they made the area incredibly hot underneath in summer. We also stained it ourselves which I would recommend if it's exposed to the elements otherwise it won't last/wear long.
