Always follow care instructions on the label of your rug. Rotate your rug every 3-6 months to reduce uneven wear & tear. Lightly vacuum once or twice a week using the lightest possible setting. Avoid powerful vacuums that may pull fibres loose from the base of the rug. Vacuum the base of your rug occasionally, as dirt can accumulate here as well. Blot spills with a paper towel or colourless cloth, do not wipe or scrub, and spot clean with a small amount of gentle detergent and warm water. This rug looked perfect for my purposes in the pictures online but one never knows quite what to expect when it arrives. Pictures can be very misleading. As always, though, a buyer can rely on Temple and Webster's guarantee that any product can be returned if not as described. So no worries on that front. In this case there was absolutely no reason to return this lovely rug as it fitted the description exactly and certainly fitted in perfectly with the surrounding furniture for which it had been selected. Many thanks also for the great delivery service. A very happy customer.
