Our Journey Home is a piece inspired by our many journeys home. The hills represent different places that we have lived during our lives, & the river symbolizes connections to Indigenous lands, providing nourishment as we travel. The Indigenous ꓵ symbol represents a person, & the people sitting around in a circle are those we have met along our journeys. We sit, we yarn, & we are connected. The people we meet along all our journeys leave a memory; these memories are represented by each circle and dot.
