Julie adores pattern and colour and especially enjoys working in limited and unusual colour combinations. She has always loved texture whether it is in impasto or collage layers, there will always be a sense of texture, pattern and depth in her work. She loves to respond intuitively to what the paint, shapes and lines are doing on the canvas and thrives on the surprises and the challenges of work unfolding spontaneously.
