Osaka Machine Washable Rug

I’ve had my eye on this rug for quite a while but have never had the courage to buy it. I’m normally a plain pattern rug person but this is just beautiful and I’m so glad I got it. It arrived quickly and packaged really well. No bad smell from being in plastic like some have. No roll or fold marks. It’s thin (on top of tiles) but very soft under feet. It doesn’t slip as I have it held under my lounge but I did purchase a non slip just in case (not using it). The colours are lovely and I think it’s created a nice homely space in my little home.

This rug so exceeded my expectations! I bought it mostly because it is machine washable and I thought that was a great idea, given my two poodles create quite a bit of mess. It is of surprisingly good quality for the price – an absolute bargain. It lies dead flat on the rubber mat I bought to go with it and does not move at all. It is also really easy to clean. These rugs are so soft and lay compelety flat unlike other rugs I've ordered online that take ages to settle. I have just washed them for the first time and they cleaned up so well and dried really quickly too. I bought the bath mat size as well as the runner and washed them both separately. The runner washed fine in our 8kg washing machine but the bath mat went unbalanced so I would add something else next time to fill up the machine a little bit more. I would highly recommend this brand and will be looking at some of the other styles they have for other rooms in our house.
